Well, the site is back to where it was;the arcade is mostly complete, the downloads are there.

We now have a ZT2 designer,Animallover44,& we have some ZT2 dls for you to enjoy.

To help designers out I've begun to rebuild the Zoo Tycoon Brains Trust, for newer members its a database of suggestions for new animals to make from in game ones, linking in to PPNE.

PPNE continues to grow,we now have almost 20,000 listings, latest additions include kingfishers, hornbills & a whole load of other stuff.

Stop over.

This contest will be open to everyone with a deadline of August 31st.

The theme is "Show Me Some Shell"

The special guest judge for this contest will be me, Crazy Turtle. I want to see your very best turtle/tortoise screenshots. Have a favorite turtle exhibit? How about an entire turtle themed area of your zoo? Or maybe you snapped a picture of the shelled one(s) just being goofy? I am making this a screenshot contest so that you can use any downloads, from any site! Send the screenshots all to webmaster@thecrazyturtle.com

There will be a winner selected from ZT1 and a winner selected from ZT2.

And here is the best part =>
I will be awarding the winners with a custom title of their choice, to be displayed under their name on the forums. To see what I mean just go to any thread I have posted in and look under my name. You will see that it says "Shelled Wonder". Your choice will show up right there. Of course the choice you make will have to meet the approval of the Admins.

So let's get those shots in, "Show Me Some Shell"!

We also have several new downloads, including 2 new fabulous bears by Ghirin.

PPNE and Nature news continue to grow. Come on over smile.gif

Me again blink.gif

As we draw nearer to the anniversary of our big move, strange things happen. Presently,we are being over run with pirates, all apparently hunting for Crazy Turtle. Some of these people are shifty characters to say the least!
Be on the lookout as we draw closer to September.

We also have several new downloads for both ZT1 and 2.

So c'mon over and hunt pirates with us wink.gif

September Tekkiversary!!

Come on over and join us in the 15 days of Tek anniversary. We have new downloads for each day. We have a few contests starting up, like the Pirate Adventure zoo building contest (ZT1) ,a Jide and Seek forum treasure hunt, and a couple more in the works yet. We are still over run with those pesky pirates, why not stop by and join the hunt and help rid the boadr of Blackbeard and the rest?

September 15th marks the one year anniversary of our move from the old Zoo Tek to the new Zoo Tek Evolved. It's now time to celebrate with great new downloads, games and FUN!

Lately we have been bombarded with pirates, and they're not leaving until they get what they're looking for! Since we seem to be overrun with the filthy vermin, we've decided to turn it into a zoo building contest! Check out the Pirate Adventure, 2006 contest HERE!

We'll have new downloads every day through the 15th (at least!), including animals for ZT1 and ZT2, buildings, fences, paths, theme-packs and MORE!

Come check out the Tekkiversary CELEBRATION at Zoo-tek Evolved!!

Tek seems to have become a rather odd place. We've just beaten off a pirate invasion & we now seem to have Simon Cowell & Paula Abdul hosting Tek Idol.

At least there's some sanity in PPNE,there a loads more perching birds added & today's Nature news is there too

Well, what have we been up to over at Tek?

Well,we have a whole section for November,Novembertek, with articles relating to the month of November. In the US you finish the month with Thanksgiving,we start it with Guy Fawkes Night.

There are a whole load of recipes for those who like cooking including a host of good British recipes & you can find these here.

There is also more Memorably Bad Music for you to enjoy in Posts Gone Wild,& a new topic on animal sounds with links to some amazing recordings in Member Chat.

As ever, there is the latest Nature News from around the world,& a whole section for animal webcams, where you can watch animals live.

PPNE contnues to grow & celebrates it's first anniversary at the end of November .It's been ages since we updated you on it,so rather than list what has been added, let's look at what hasn't.It's easier.

At the moment we are working on the Guide to Birds. It's going very well.In fact as of today there are only TWO bird families which remain to be added!

Come & see!

May I have your attention please.

The reason I am asking is that,at 7.52 pm on the 11th November 2006,is that I should like to let you know that Professor Paul's Nature Encyclopedia,in the bird guide, now contains every known living & fossil bird. If any others are discovered then of course they will be added as I find out about them.

Professor Paul's Guide to Birds currently stands at 10,958 listings.

Now for the reptiles.Come & see.
